Have you ever confided your dearest-held ambition to someone, only to have them pour scorn or doubt on the whole thing? It used to demoralise me, until I realised it said more about them than about my plans. Now I tend to follow Wayne Dyer's advice and keep it to myself until I am well on the way. I find it keeps the energy much clearer.
